Chatterbox Labs, a 13 year old global leading AI Risk company, are looking for software testers to join our UK-based team to help test and evaluate our AI risk technologies.
You should either be in your 2nd or 3rd year of studies for, or have completed, a degree in Computer Science (or related field). You will join our engineering team whose responsibility it is to implement our patented AI Model Insights platform (known as AIMI).
This role may suit students, semi-retired IT professionals or those looking to return to work with a new challenge.
Your role will support the quality assurance (QA) phase of the software development lifecycle and will include tasks such as:
- Conduct manual tests of AIMI’s user interface (a web application)
- File bugs or issues with the engineering team
- Create diverse sample AI & Machine Learning models for test purposes
- Conduct automated tests of AIMI using Python
- Review developer and user documentation
In addition to this there is the opportunity to assist the team with research into areas such as AI Security and AI Fairness.
The role is office based in Kingston Upon Thames. The hours are negotiable, and you will be paid an hourly rate of £12.
Depending upon success, there is scope to grow your role within the company.
You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom; there is no opportunity for visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science (or related fields) in progress (2nd or 3rd year) or complete
- Strong problem solving skills and good attention to detail
- The desire to help deliver robust, proven and tested technologies
Desirable Qualifications (but not required)
- Studied a module in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field
- Experience using Python
- Exposure to Java and the Java Virtual Machine
- Exposure to functional programming (such as via Clojure, Haskell, etc)
- Exposure to software management tools (git, subversion, etc)
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, etc
Language Requirements
Excellent spoken and written English language.
